After one of H. C. Andersens trips in Europe, he went on a small tour through Sealand to Funen, where he visited Holstenhuus on the 9th. of July 1843 on the occasion of a party. A lot of people from Faaborg and Svendborg participated, among others Riborg Voigt along with her husband and children.
