Holsteinborg Slotspark
H. C. Andersen loved to come to Holsteinborgs park and he became a close friend to the family. Between 1856 and 1874 he visited Holstienborg no less than 17 times, and he also visited the family in their Copenhagen home. H. C. Andersen had his own apartment made at Holsteinborg in 1856. After his death in 1875 it was locked and only recently opened up. H. C. Andersen found inspiration here, and a lot of his fairy tales are attached to Holsteinborg.
