HCA Society in Copenhagen is a literary society that annually awards a HCA prize. The award consists of a medal and a small amount of money and is awarded to researchers, illustrators, actors and others who convey the works of H. C. Andersen. Hans Christian Andersen Society in the Copenhagen Cultural Fund is handled by the Board of HCA Society in Copenhagen, which awards a prize and medal, in accordance with the statutory provisions.
