Danish Authors Association’s Hans Christian Andersen Grant is a grant that is awarded by the Danish Writers Association in memory of and appreciation for the writer H. C. Andersen. Grant funding comes from the Ministry of Culture.
The grant is awarded primarily to writers and scientists, who by their activities related to H. C. Andersen, have made a significant effort in Danish literature.
Grants were created in 1955 to mark the 150th anniversary of Hans Christian Andersen’s birth.
